On the first day of the week, we often carry both hope and pressure into what lies ahead. God meets us there, not with a small answer, but with His own limitless power.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

— Ephesians 3:20-21

Today, let God stretch your expectations. His power is already at work in you, and He is able to do more than your mind can hold.

We are tempted to begin the week by measuring what we have, what we lack, and what we can manage alone. But Paul lifts our eyes higher. God is not limited by our budget, our energy, or our understanding.

This means we can bring our work, our family, and our quiet dreams before Him without shrinking them down first. The Spirit of God strengthens us from within, giving us courage for the next step, even when the whole road is not clear.

So ask Him boldly today. Invite Him into the task in front of you, and trust that His glory can be seen in ordinary faithfulness.

A Word of Prayer

Father, we come to You at the start of this week asking You to widen our hearts and steady our hands. Do more in us and through us than we could ever plan, so that our lives bring glory to Jesus. Amen.
